Helen left us 23 January 2008. A bubbly, beautiful woman, we miss you, especially your brother Gary, neice Amy and nephew Joseph, and by me, Lisa. Gone, but definitely not forgotten. Always in our hearts. X

Poem from your bro, Gary: Miss me but Let me go!

Now I've come to the end of the road and the sun has set for
me!
I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set
free!
Miss me a little, but not too long and not with your head
bowed low!
Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me but let me
go!
For this journey that we all must take and each must go
alone!
It's all part of the master's plan, a step on the road to home!
When we are lonely and sick at heart, go to the family and
friends we know!
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds! Miss me, but let
me go!!!!
Now there are many things for you to do and lots of ways to
grow!
So get busy, be happy and live your lives, Miss me, but let
me go!!!!

Thinking of You with Love Aunty Helen

We thought of you with love today,
but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
we often speak your name.
All we have are memories,
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
with which we will never part.
God has you in His keeping,
we have you in our hearts.
A million times we`ve wanted you.
A million times we cried.
If love could only have saved you,
you never would have died.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
But you didn`t go alone.
For a part of us went with you...
the day God called you Home.

We miss you loads Aunty Helen
Lots of love Amy and Joseph

Tears for a daughter

If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to Heaven
and bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken
no time to say goodbye
you were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.
My heart still aches in sadness
and secret tears still flow,
what it meant to lose you,
no one will ever know.

Daughter

I am your mother, but you, my child, I cannot hold.
It'll get easier with time, or so I'm told.
People may forget that I am your mother.
I'm part of a secret club we only share with one another.
But that doesn't diminsh my love for you.
I think of you the whole day through.
I wonder what you're doing, my Precious Little One.
We are connected by an Infinite bond which cannot come undone.
I will not let Death tear us apart.
I promise to always keep you alive in my heart

My Daughter

My Daughter
As time will come and go
Sometimes like a distant wind
My life sees so many changes
And I'm thankful for true friends
But as I long for wisdom
And search for that distant light
I think of yesterdays
When I watched you sleep at night
And nothing that I touch
In a sometimes lonely world
Will ever mean as much
As the love of my little girl

Miss you so much Helen!!!!!
Lots of Love from Mamxxxxxxxxxxx

Sister

Sometimes we're real close friends.
We stay up late and talk at night.
Other times we don't get along,
There are even times we fight.

But I know she's always there.
And I know she'll always care.
She's my sister.

I've given her a great, big hug
When she was feeling bad.
And then again I've said some things
That have really made her mad.

But I know she's always there.
And I know she'll always care.
She's my sister.

But I know she's always there.
And I know she'll always care.
She's my sister.

Rest in Peace Sis.xxxx

One Year On...

We little knew that day that God had called your name,

In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,

For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

You left us fond memories, your love is still our guide,

And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,

But one day we'll be reuninted, and the chain will link again.

I only just found out on Friday you had gone... I still can’t understand, but then may not ever find out why. I hope you are somewhere safe, and wonderful, where you can be your beautiful and high spirited self. I hope god is looking down on your family especially your mam and Gary. I had the honour of spending quite a few wonderful years as your friend, and will never forgive myself for loosing touch or not being there for you. You helped me grown up and showed me the good things in life. I only wish more people had had the chance to be touched by your wonderful smile
